RoamPA app for iPhone and iPad

The RoamPA iOS app is used in conjunction with the RoamPA web product.

The RoamPA product provides a platform for HR departments of corporations to manage the profiles and background information of their employees. Specifically, it is aimed at corporations which have employees, or assignees, who travel regularly for their job, or who are assigned overseas during their employment. The app uses location services to identify the country the employee is in during the course of the day, regularly uploading this information to the web product.

The location information is collated so that the HR departments can keep a track of the number of days assignees have spent in foreign countries to ensure compliance with the tax regulations in these countries. When an assignee reaches a certain number of days for a given country, the HR person is notified so that they can inform their assignee that a tax liability may occur in a country they are regularly travelling to.

It is not intended that this app be used as a standalone app for the general public. Rather it will be downloaded by assignees once the HR departments have signed up for licenses to use the RoamPA product.
